Phoenix on new years eve offers a wide selection of parties andcelebrations, from classical music at the Phoenix Symphoiny to galadinners in the city's many top hotels and restaurants.
There aren't typically any large scale fireworks displays to see,but there are enough alternative attractions to make the Phoenix newyears party scene well worth attending, especially with the additionof the Decadence music festival to the available offerings.
This isn't a location you're likely to chance upon by accident, existingas it does in such splendid isolation, but by all accounts it's wellworth the trip, and is a venue we've had on the bucket list for quitea while - there's something I find particularly appealing about beingin the desert during the winter, the contrast of colours and temperaturesadding a unique aspect to the local new year celebrations.
New Years Eve Fireworks
We haven't been able to find details on any official municipalfireworks in Phoenix, and don't be tempted to launch your own asthey've been outlawed without a specific permit in Arizona since2010! Your best chance of seeing some new years eve pyrotechnicsthen will likely be at one of the big private hotel parties in thearea - we'll provide updates here of any we find for new year 2022.
Decadence Music Festival
One of the biggest new year parties in Phoenix this year will bethe arrival of theDecadence music festival to the city, with 2 nights ofelectronic dance music from the 30-31 December at the city's RawhideEvent Center.
The festival is a new addition to the Decadence event that takesplace in Denver each year and includes a fantastic lineup, whichthis year features 4B, Above & Beyond, Alison Wonderland, DJ Diesel,Drezo, Rezz, Skrillex, San Holo, Porter Robinson.

Hotel Valley Ho NYE 2022
The major hotels in Phoenix and nearby Scottsdale (technically aseparate town, but part of the larger Phoenix metropolitan area) competeto host some pretty impressive new year parties. One such event is atthe HotelValley Ho, where the NYE 2022 party includes buffet, premium bar,live music and a confetti explosion at midnight.
Radisson Casino New Years Party
There is typically another big party at the Radisson and Fort McDowellCasino in Scottsdale, where their Grand Ballroom will be the scene forlive music, Hors d'oeuvres, party favours and a champagne toast to greetthe new year.
